Sitting upon eleven pastoral acres, the Oaks at Salem exudes centuries-old charm from every vantage point – making it the perfect setting for Amber and Drew’s rustic vintage glam wedding. From the beautiful landscape to the historic charm of the home, this day was guaranteed to be one the couple and the guests won’t forget!
This wedding was full of contrast and textured design. Amber looked gorgeous in a vintage-inspired, floral embroidered lace gown and blush floral headpiece. Drew and his groomsmen looked handsome in charcoal suits and burgundy bowties, which complemented Amber’s bridesmaids’ deep burgundy gowns and heightened the romantic feel of the landscape.
The ceremony combined the Oaks at Salem’s rugged brick walls and delicate arrangements of greenery. Dainty gold lanterns encasing tall white candles sat at the entrance of the aisle, creating the perfect amount of elegance and femininity to contrast with the rustic landscape. Amber’s bouquet, made up of blush, ivory, and maroon blooms, added more delicacy to the setting and created a natural, organic feel while still maintaining rustic charm and romance.
For the reception, tables were dressed in intricate embroidered lace and topped with strands of greenery interspersed with blush, ivory, and maroon blooms as a touch of contrast to the neutral color palette. Amber and Drew truly personalized the details of their wedding, even down to the cake! Instead of opting for a traditional tiered wedding cake, the couple had an incredible display of assorted miniature cupcakes and a single small cake at the top of the display. From the lace and burgundy pops of color, to the gorgeous rustic landscape, this wedding was a vintage glam you won’t forget!
